Judi and Paul Taylor are the international coordinators for the WCCM Friends program and in this video they give an overview of the project ‘Art Show in a Time of Crisis’.
In this video we get introduced to Judi and Paul and learn how the project started.
“There was a sense it was time to explore some of the aspects of beauty which has been nourishing for us during these times of crisis and the beauty of the offering online of the Contemplative Path Through the Crisis site’ says Judi.
All the art exhibited has been produced by meditators and donated for this online art show. In this video we visit Paul’s studio and take a look at some of his and other artists’ paintings.
‘The paintings I do arise out of stillness and convey a feeling of stillness, something that I strive for’ says Paul.
“All of it arose out of a great sense of gratitude the community gives to us. The gift of meditation in times of crisis provides us with something very important and special to be able to deal with these times’ in gratitude for all that we thought of using art as a way of saying thank you.”

What is the WCCM Friends Programme?
A Friend provides financial support to The World Community for Christian Meditation for its international work that is coordinated from the International Office in London and overseen by the WCCM Guiding Board. (Each country in the community is financially responsible for its own needs.)
A WCCM Friend supports the work of the Community in nurturing emerging Christian Meditation communities where there is not yet an organised community structure or coordinator.
