Where Can I Turn for Support Now?
The first and most obvious thing we can do to strengthen our contemplative path is to renew fidelity to the daily practice, morning and evening.
If you don’t do so already, think of adding a preparatory element – a short reading, some physical stretching, chant or music – before or after the meditation . These can help to steady the mind and feelings so you come to the practice itself calmer and better prepared. Try to bring your time in meditation up to 20-30 minutes. Meditate with others weekly (or more often if you can) online. If you are at home, try a midday meditation.
