Meditation, Wellbeing and More, an online course with Jim Green

Meditation, Wellbeing and More has been designed to help you explore a range of concepts associated with health, wellbeing, human development and personal growth, alongside the practice of meditation. The practice has long been recognised as something that can support personal wellbeing.

The course encourages you to reflect on what we might mean by wellbeing, and to take up – or continue – meditation. Engaging with the course will open the possibility of discovering that there is much more for us to know about ourselves and about the world (only now in a quite different way) – and much more for us to let go of.


Jim Green has worked for many years in the field of mental health with local and national organisations, the Open University and the BBC. He has practised meditation since the 1980s in both Buddhist and Christian settings. Jim has been an oblate of The World Community for Christian Meditation since 2009. He is the author of several books on meditation and mental health, the most recent being ‘Giving Up Without Giving Up: Meditation & Depressions’. Bloomsbury Continuum, 2019.
