A Contemplative Path Through the Crisis /

Dealing with the Crisis in the Business World

WCCM Director took part recently in a online session with DP Architects staff

Recently Laurence Freeman spoke to the workforce, from London to Shanghai, of one of Asia’s most successful architectural firms, Singapore-based DPA. Angelene Chan, the CEO, introduced him:“Things have reached catastrophic levels. The constant stream of bad news is a source of anxiety and confusion for all of us. We need to find ways to cope. When Fr Laurence offered to talk to us I thought it would be a wonderful opportunity to learn how to respond to this crisis with a new approach, a contemplative approach.”

He spoke first about how meditation helps to break the compulsive nature of fearful thoughts and anxieties. The session includes a period of meditation followed by questions.

Meditatio, the outreach of WCCM to many professions and fields of life, has a range of resources on Contemplative leadership and contemporary business values.
